Busy Woman by Sabrina Carpenter - it's a great song, it felt right, it's been stuck in my head for days, and it's so fitting and perfect pertaining to the topic lol.
CAREER WOMAN. I'm a career woman. Besides the obvious important things, which I truly feel like I don't even need to mention, didn't even need to say this (but did for those people who are like: weLl? whaT aBOUT...?) nothing is more important to me than my career choice. I WANT THAT FUTURE. I WANT IT SO BAD -for some reason.
Emphasis on career, not family.
The idea that, with willpower, you can do ANYTHING and become ANYONE you want to be. You just gottta want it enough and set your priorities straight. (It sounds SOOO simple when said like this lol).
Anyone can become rich. Even though I don't care about money that much, it's just nice to feel as if I can truly do anything I set my mind to.
Democracy - not monarchy, not autocracy, not theocracy (that's so wrong lol). The idea that
WE THE PEOPLE.
Freedom. I don't even feel like freedom is granted; it's just implied. But comparing to other countries...yeah...
As a teenager, you are so free in a way. You can get a job at 14, you can get a car and you can start driving at 16. Even if some may view it as shackles, cutting your childhood short, and burdening yourself as an adult too soon, I still view it as an opportunity. I felt so free when I could drive anywhere I wanted to at 17 and had a job at 16, already making money and could spend it, without having to worry about taxes or bills. I could just spend it on fun stuff or doing stuff with friends.
Like many many other lists on my blog, I'll keep this list updated
