Think about it.

You can never know somebody's full life (details)
It's so easy to misunderstand everything (life is so full of misunderstandings, it is misunderstandings)
You are constantly learning (about a person, about life, about yourself). And all of those affect how you perceive the world or understand someone.
Not to mention, you are constantly changing how you yourself think.
