Cooking

Now that we have covered the bases of daily dishes I eat and how to prepare them, I thought it’d be interesting to start exercising the scope of imagination of what I would cook when I finally start cooking for myself.
For background, I don’t enjoy cooking. I avoid it quite fervently. In fact, instead of cooking, I’d rather just be hungry. If I have to cook, it is something very simple that mostly involves eggs or boiling.
But inevitably I will have to start cooking one day. And I know that when I will, I will be good at it. I will excel. I will try hard. And sure it may not start out glorious, but it will be.
There are so many dishes I am excited to try to spice up my life (no pun intended). Growing up, I had mostly one culture food, and not a whole lot of variety. And definitely…not a lot of spices. This isn’t England but it was pretty plain. And it got to be pretty boring and hungry.
However I love spices and spices are good, so, and I also love some other cultures, as well as their respective foods.
I would love to make some Indian dishes. Chicken tikki masala…coconut curry…Growing up I was obsessed with and loved biryani, samosas are so good! Butter chicken is another more popular one as I understand. The lemon rice is a staple. I never want to make boring plain white rice, because I have had too much of it, and life is better with spices!
So definitely some Indian dishes. Gotta represent my boy.
