Happiness and Gratefulness

Wow, my old room. This wasn't even from a year ago, perhaps four, I have no idea (I'm in university now).

Everyday that we wake up safely and alive, everytime we get to our destination by car, plane, bus, train, foot, we should be grateful. Everything that we own, see, sense, experience, we should be grateful for. Every blessing, gift, and person.

It's important to keep this in mind every second. We should be thankful for each day and each passing moment that we get to spend on this planet, and we should never take any of it for granted, and we should be productive.

We should be working towards something. Have some kind of goals in life. Because we do have our life, and time granted to us that we should do something with.

Because we were given this life.

But this is all with a grain of salt, because it is also true that what happens in this life (unless it be very bad) doesn't matter so much. When you die, nothing goes with you. Nothing material or physical whatsoever. Just your soul. And so the real goal, besides all these earthly goals that yes matter, but on a different level, but the real goal, is to cleanse your soul and get ready for the concept of after-life.
