Side-by-side comparison of different (types of) houses.
Mansion
Pros
Beautiful
Rich
Double doors
Space, land
Can be in the middle of nowhere
Can decorate super glamorously (would fit the house/rooms)
More rooms/space to decorate
Can do more with outside house space (yard, backyard, farm?)
Playgrounds, fountains, I don't know get crazy
Space for people if they want to visit
Storage
Cons
Draws a lot of attention
Can be robbed//Robbing target (especially if in the middle of nowhere)
So much to clean
Property tax (so annoying)
Otherwise, save money for other things
Storage could lead to -> overconsumption
Not very humble lifestyle (could be bad? biblically? bad for soul/salvation?)
Cottage
Pros
In a forest yesssss
Fits in with landscape (not: АЛОООО)
Not going to draw attention
Humble
Can actually say "humble abode"
Cozy
No one going to rob you trust
Not much to clean
Not overconsuming
Cons
Quite quite small
Especially if for family
I feel like things would be far away
Modern medium sized
Pros
Feels like the safe choice, no one's going to judge you (like for the other two), and approve of your choice instead.
Can still have double doors
Can still be in the middle of nowhere
Cons
Kind-of boring
The safe option
Everyone does this
Might as well just live in the suburbs:(
Property tax strikes again
