" Please Please Please " by Sabrina Carpenter
I really need to post on here more lol. I wanted to talk about makeup. Also, this may be a very short blog post but that's okay. I think before, my mindset was "I have to write an essay" about basically everything, but now, even if I write a paragraph about something: that's fine. Not everything has a lot to PITCH, I guess. A discussion can start from any amount of text and opinion.
So: I'm kind-of confused by makeup. Makeup is worn to cover up your skin. So basically implies there's something you don't like about your skin. Foundation, at least. But instead of helping, makeup only makes everything worse. In a lot of cases, it worsens your skin problems, and clogs your pores or whatever. So the real solution would be to not wear makeup and focus on your skin? If makeup is worn to cover up skin, but skin becomes worse because of it, then would you even wear makeup? Also, if you wear makeup but have a real goal of fixing your skin, then by the time you are happy with your skin, where does makeup even stand? I don't know...it's all very strange.
Not to mention: there's also the natural aspect. If you wear makeup, you will start thinking that is your natural self. What if you start liking "that" you better? That's kind-of sad, isn't it? Because when you take off your makeup, that's who you really are? I suppose there are people who balance it very well, and good for them! I suppose a big part of it is impatience with your skin and "needing" to look better.
Sometimes, like me, you might take the natural thing too far though. I used to wear no makeup because I was kind-of afraid for the very same reasons mentioned in the above paragraph. But then I heard the argument that minimal makeup, well it just accentuates your features, is all. You can feel good both ways. And that argument makes sense. It definitely all requires a little bit of balance and thought to it.
Let Me Know What You Think!!!☺
