Ocean
Pros
Beautiful
It just makes me feel better when it's close
Perhaps it's the awareness that it's suddenly there (when it's not, it's as if it doesn't exist/is just not there (yes I realize this is kind-of stupid))
It has healing powers I swear for real
Psychologically, emotionally
Physically
Smell (love-hate relationship lowkey)
Salt (apparently good for your skin)
Can just stare at it forever
The combination of staring + thinking + music is superior >>>
People-watching + psychology
Endless beach days
SUNNNN RAYYYYSSSS
sunglasses so we don't get skin cancerrrr or wrrrrinkles
So mysterious!!!
All the sea animals
Can't see underneath
So much potential for exploration
Waves
Dolphins
Seals
Walks alongside beach barefoot
Warmish weather (obviously it depends when you go, but it hits)
Color changes
Staring into the horizon
+ apparently makes your vision better
instant vision boost
The vast expanse-ness really makes you think
Cons
Tsunamis are a little scary
Sharks are a little scary
Often people here, this is the more popular choice
Mountains
Pros
Absolutely stunning
Want casual views of the mountains all the time, everyday, at all time
As I'm like, walking out of Walmart or something
I've noticed this with people who live in Montana
They act like it's nothing
Less people choose this choice
More chances for forest around
Hiking
Mountain climbing/rock climbing/biking?
I want to climb a mountain
Altitude
Tundra
Cool animals/flowers
Cons
I guess avalanches
Mountain climbing injuries
