Reasons for deleting insta

When I do delete insta, the only social media I have, it's always out of a couple of reasons.
Avoiding people on there (scared of what they'll text back, if they even will, or their stories/notes etc).
Avoiding people on there-
-but in a different way
their presence is physically hard but necessary to endure (unavoidable)
and I don't need the constant reminder of them
Life getting a little hard, and don't need the distraction
more peaceful that way
feel free
not obligated
not tied down by it
just freeing myself of extra worries so I can focus on things/the problems
At least for me, Instagram always created the effect that I felt like I had to stay updated, FOMO.
And I wouldn't, and barely open the app. Maybe once a day, or a few times, for a few seconds. Or I would get fed up with it and not open it for days.
I don't know, I have a love-hate relationship with it, which I will write about in another blog post.
Here are examples of each case:
Case 1. Risky text situation, scared what they'll text back/if they responding. Waiting for their texts. Fed up with the situation, so delete instead. This situation caused a lot of emotional turmoil. Needed a break from it, as well as anything that gave a reminder of them (that's how much it/they messed me up). Happened around October/November 2024.
Case 2. Can't not follow them, but they make me so mad that the reminder of them is horrible. Happened around December 2024/January 2025.
Case 3. SCHOOL AND PROGRESSION. April 2025.
