“Sad girl” of last year (unintentional manifestation of some feelings)

Last year I seemed to start associating with fall, winter, and the fall/winter semester ever so much with sadness. Yes it’s true that people get seasonal depression.

And when I think about the spring semester, it is a lot easier.

Though this obsession you could say was strange for that period of time, because back then school still made me happy and I was very happy to go to university and excited. All I ever dreamed of, basically.

Well it’s ironic, because this semester took a turn.

I was so excited to get ready for classes, happy to walk to them. The sun was shining. It was really quite hot. And I would listen to happy music. Like hype/get ready with me type music. Hype girl artists, like Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Beer, and Tate McRae.

It’s still easier in Spring. Life, somehow. The promise of summer, relaxation, rest, warmth, and sun. You wear brighter colors. Dresses. Sundresses.

Well now it’s sad music association completely. The weather seems to just agree with me (or was it the weather who made it this way in the first place? Hmm…). Dark Christian music too. Philosophical, deep, meaningful music. Like David Kushner, Shaya Zambora, and sombr. Yes it’s true I like meaningful music to begin with, but still.

What also agrees is a phone wallpaper too. Something foggy, like the dark nature and forests I became obsessed with last year.

I don’t know this association with ever fade. Every fall and winter ever. Though I hope none will ever be as this hard as this particular one is, ever again.
