such different lives we’re living…

On my birthday, I went on State St. A pretty scary street, but also amazing street, if you’re familiar (I’ve written about it a lot more, it is a big point of interest).
It was Thursday night, and somehow, so many people drinking on Thursday night!!
I was absolutely shocked by the bar lines on a Thursday night, it just made me realize, just how different the lives we are living are.
And by that I mean, perhaps any other major vs. engineering.
Because even though I so wanted this day to be a nice day you know, cause who wouldn’t? Well, I can’t say that it was. I had lab. I literally had such a late exam too, and I was done that day from 1:20pm nonstop (in the morning, just had to rush to read my daily two chapters of Dostoevsky, and somehow got the Godly blessing to do it in just under 1 hour and 30 minutes, whereas usually the rate is 1 hour/chapter). Now that was my birthday present: superhuman reading speed!!:)
But instead, I felt like I couldn’t BREATHE because of how little time I had, and stressed I was for things upcoming. Like my upcoming physics exam, and chemistry quiz tomorrow.
Engineering majors, can’t catch a break (though the Russian literature class, was apparently a very hard addition, clearly).
Just makes me wonder…how? Do you not care about school? Do you not have classes on Friday? Do you not go to them? Do you not have homework? How do you do any of this stuff when you’re drunk?
