The type of photography I like vs. other people

Other people:

• bereal

• tiktok

• insignificant moments

• snapchat

• cities

• skyscrapers

• architecture

• portraits of other people

• photoshoots

• animals

Me:

• no architecture; nothing manmade

• nature only

• not cities, not suburbs

• middle of nowhere

• no people

• no animals

• moments if they have a deep inner feeling or connection (could be a memory, could be a creepy forest that invokes fear, sadness, melancholy)

• europe would barely invoke feelings of wanting to take pictures, i just crave nature

• man i miss romanticism days

Went for a walk yesterday. No this forest isn't creepy. I have no such forests near me. (1) But it did invoke feelings of wishing to be lost and survival skills; so some senes of urgency. The walk was a very thoughtful one, and so it was a (2) significant moment as well. 18 May 2025.

I like photography. I like thinking of different angles. I took two classes in high school. Though I realized I only liked nature photography and very specific, I still enjoyed learning and the classes. 18 May 2025.
