Welcome week

Last year, the concept of welcome week was pretty foreign. But now I was seasoned enough to know what it is, and even expect it.

In this blog post, I want to talk about the differences of welcome week last year (1st year, yay) versus this year.

Last year, I obviously didn’t know what I was doing or where I was going. I had nervousness, the good type. This year, I have the bad type, more of like a dread for what’s going to happen in my future, and how badly I could mess up my future with my own hands (read more: blog posts called “Hands”).

Last year, I was excited. This year…>>> No comment. I have said enough in other places/blog posts/paragraphs already.

A university friend of mine brought up how last year, she had so much more energy. But this year, she just felt tired. She was confused on why.

Well, I could relate. But I knew exactly why. Being excited vs. not makes that difference. And not only that, but last year, there were so many events to go to, so many things to do, so many things to learn and explore. None of that essence existed anymore this second time around. In a nice way, it was much more chill.
