Why do we self-sabotage ourselves…

Updated: Aug 15

?????

Why do this?

Why like this???

Why allow this?

Why so okay with it? What is wrong?

Why so used to it? Is the hate really that strong? Is the numbness really that great? Can’t you see what is happening? What is being done? I mean honestly, it’s really crazy!

Do you really not feel it? And why is that? It doesn’t feel like you’re doing anything wrong? It feels both okay and bad. For different separate reasons.

Okay: You can’t possibly be making it worse. (But yet you can be…by NOT doing). And at least you’re not hurting anyone else…more…right? And you don’t know what you’re doing, so if you’re not doing anything, you can’t possibly be doing the wrong thing, right? In reality there’s no way to win.

Another big thing is that at least by not doing anything, you’re not getting in the way of, preventing, or stopping your destined future, right? You have that comfort at least. But can you even change it, if you wanted, meant to, and tried your absolute best to?! A fate is a greater thing, can’t change that, hmmm….? So is that really a reason, or something you should consider, or worry about???

Bad: It hurts?

And if you “don’t” self-sabotage?

Okay: You maybe should be doing this? It doesn’t hurt?

Bad: But doesn’t it? What if you’re only hurting more, and messing things up, changing the future, into what it shouldn’t be? Making an inevitable future pain even greater? And really really messing things up.
