Why do you write about?

(Sometimes this blog starts feeling like a Q&A…. giggles)

Yesterday someone asked me what my blog is about/what I write about, and I almost had a panic attack right there on the spot. Not sure…why? What it was caused by? It felt like I genuinely could not ever explain, or put into words, what my own blog was about. It was such a sudden, direct, question. I say that like there was something wrong with it (There was absolutely nothing wrong about it).

I was pretty lost in the moment, and maybe it was because I didn’t want to think too much about it, or appear like a fool, that I just said that I write about everything, many things. Didn’t want to think too much, or appear like I was thinking too much about it. And perhaps that draws too much attention. Ugh, I just hate that. Sometimes, it’s just better if people don’t even know…anything. But the truth always has a way of coming out. Unfortunately, it’s inevitable. Not that the truth is bad. But the effects of it being out in the open? Can be болезненно (there’s not a good word for it in English, or a good translation).

But that moment has since passed, obviously, and I have had time to think about.

What I write about, is obviously a wide array of things. It can’t be put in a category…at least, not one. It can be put into categories.

1. Sometimes I write about completely random unrelated things, that somehow popped into my head, at some moment, and I have something to think about them or to say about them.

2. Philosophical ideas (Философствую)

3. Sometimes I write about something I have thought about for years, and think about constantly.

4. Something I have a good idea/thoughts on…

5. Or a steadfast opinion about…

6. A show or a movie, that I watched, reference, and it has some good thing to think about/talk about/share thoughts on

7. Things I am confused on

8. Things I think are important, important for people to think about, and read

9. Reflecting so that I get better

10. Life events/updates

11. Can be based off of a conversation I had with somebody irl…

12. Absolute trivial facts about me (kind-of goes with the random, because remember how this blog started out, a way to catch up friends in a consistent manner)
