You’re human, embrace the emotion.
We are all human. Humans have emotions.
I think oftentimes we are scared of those emotions, and we think we have to hide them. But being human IS having emotion. Having emotion IS human. We shouldn’t hide from it. We should embrace it.
Whether it be anger or sadness, love, etc for some reason those are the only emotions I can think of right now.
There are huge BUTs.
Obviously, there is a way to take any emotion too far. Like trying to blame something bad on “love.”
Like being anger, and punching a hole in the wall. Or annoying someone. Out of love, or anger. Like resentment.
Or sadness, I shouldn’t even have to clarify how that one can be bad. And there are a lot more implications for anger too. And relationships can be toxic (as far as the love emotion).
How many times in movies, though, do we see people so upset, so angry, that they didn’t tell someone “I love you” enough? And then that person dies, or something…
I don’t know why we are afraid of love. I know we are afraid to get hurt. But isn’t it better to have love, got hurt, and lost, than to have never felt this HUMAN emotion at all?
Now there are some human emotions though, that I genuinely hate. If someone is any bit of this…it annoys me to death.
If someone is overly emotional (in an annoying way, though I have already mentioned how too much of anything leads to no good), or dramatic, or “pick me,” that is a huge pet peeve of mine. Annoying- in general, isn’t a great emotion. And if even anger, and sadness, in my mind can be ok, but something “more” mild, such as annoying, isn’t, I feel like that’s saying something. Additionally, people who change personalities and become a different person, depending on who’s around. I HATE INSTABILITY.
If you’re like this then DON’T embrace the human emotion, omg.
