It takes the right person to see you

There's this one song I love for the vibes (and lyrics). Though, I can only understand about the half that's in English, and I don't even know what the other language is. But no matter what, a song in a different language can still be so beautiful. Not just the language, but instrumental too.

The song has the following lyrics: "it's hard to find, the one you should be holding tight, when it feels right"

Just one simple line. Maybe two. But that's irrelevant. There is so much meaning in those two lines.

Not completely related to those lines, but I was inspired to write about this concept. When I was thinking about it, I thought of the song, and how well the lines from the song applied. I mean it's pretty much exactly what I wanted to write about, so I wanted to mention it.

It is true that it is hard to find the right person. But once you do, it sound be pretty clear and obvious. An obvious match.

Maybe not at first. I'm not saying you have to, or will, or that every person sees it right away.

Or maybe, no matter what, you do see it right away, but it's a matter of what you do about it.

Does it scare you? Do you hide? Do you run? Run away? Or do you dare to come closer to uncovering the truth?

It sounds pretty dramatic, but all is fair in love, right? Love is dramatic. And confusing. It's even confusing to me, how I can say that it's clear and confusing at the same time. Because it can be confusing, but when you really clear your head, you can always see the truth plain in front of you.

All this talk about what you can or cannot see is maybe not as clear, a little blurry, a little more cloudy, but one thing that is not, one thing I know for sure, is that it takes the right person to see you.

You will know it's the right person, because they will understand you. They will get you.

This is a big emphasis. At least to me, it is.

Everything no one understands about you, everything you never thought someone would understand about you, they will understand.

It's like magical, honestly.

To me, it is.

I just think that's so important, especially if you're someone who feels like they've been misunderstood so many times, or so much in general, in life. It's just a breath of fresh air. Or like a breath of impossible magical air, from some mountain no one has ever been on, but somehow you were able to get up on top, unscathed, fully okay, feeling amazing, and the scenery is unbelievable. I don't know, you get the pretty picture.

Because so much of life is about misunderstanding. Isn't it nice, isn't it fresh, to get a little bit of that? Virtually all of human problems are misunderstanding. Let that sink in. Miscommunication, and misunderstanding with one another. We are the ones who create problems. Only humans do. Animals may have problems, they may be concerned about surviving, but they certainly don't create problems like humans do. And all the problems are for other humans, or with other humans.

At least the problems that are interacting with one another are like that, all to do with misunderstanding and miscommunication. But in a broader way, all encompassing, you could even say that the problems of the world, are still created by humans, affecting other humans.

So when a human gets you, that means millions. Fireworks going off in the distance.

The right person will see you for who you are.

And the crazy thing is that even if you don't think it will happen, it will. Even if you are convinced you will never find someone, even if you told yourself and made yourself okay with never finding anybody, and don't believe there's anyone out there for you (who will get you) you are wrong!

It's a magical thing when, you dreamed someone would see you that way. And you never thought someone would. Nothing quite like it. A person you are completely honest with, your 100%, will know more about you, know you, better than any best friend could. Another best friend, but so much more too.

It takes time. It takes patience. And often it comes when you're not expecting it or told yourself you don't care anymore, aren't looking for anything.

And maybe you will not see it at first. But you will always know.

And all you have to do is be yourself. But that is truly the only way to accomplish it, too. For the right person to see you, to find you, you have to be yourself first. Because you have to understand this: How can you possibly truly be understand if you are not even being yourself, being true to yourself, don't even know who you yourself are?
